Members of Iraq Veterans Against the War marched on August 27th during the Democratic National Convention in Denver, to the Pepsi Center to demand that the Democrats and Senator Barack Obama end the war, as they have been saying they would. After a tense standoff with police, two members of IVAW were escorted into the Pepsi center and allowed to meet with Phil Carter, Senator Obama's Veterans' liaison. Before the march there was a free Rage Against the Machine concert .
