A graduate of the photography department at Northern Arizona University with a minor in journalism, Jon has a passion for exploring the interaction of humans with each other and their surrounding environment.

       Jon finds himself just as much at home perched on a cliff waiting for that sunrise shot as he does documenting the delicate stories of health care in the U.S. (one of his current projects).

       Whether he is photographing a landscape he has spent hours waiting to embrace or an activist he encountered for only a fleeting moment at a street demonstration, his quest has always been to invite intimacy into his photography and find truth in that single moment when the shutter clicks.

       Jon's work has been published both nationally and internationally and his clients include both non-profits and for profit ventures. Based in the Boulder, Colorado area he is available for work worldwide.
